While guests only see the magic of a perfectly set wedding day, the work behind the scenes never stops. On weekends without an event, you won’t find us kicking our feet up—we’re busy enhancing every inch of Willow and Stone Events to ensure it’s as breathtaking as ever for our future couples and guests.
This week, we’ve been pruning towering pear trees, relocating a water hydrant to improve aesthetics, installing new irrigation valves for the orchard and the vineyard, and clearing underbrush around the upper pond. We’re also setting posts for a new open-air wedding arbor (built for large lawn weddings, creek-side), transplanting 20 peonies, planting 500 seedlings, and preparing flower beds around The Retreat for a fresh landscape. Meanwhile, our team is finishing The Retreat’s back patio, ensuring the space is pristine for our next guests, and welcoming couples for venue tours.
